Google AI Mode in Best AI Search Engine
Google's AI search mode. It splits a question into subtopics, searches them together, and writes one answer with links to the pages it used. AI Overviews are the shorter summary that appears on some normal results.

Pricing
AI Mode is free in supported regions. Google's plans page lists AI Pro at $19.99 per month or $199.99 per year, and says AI Pro gives four times the usage limits of non-AI plans. Ultra is offered in tiers with five times and twenty times the Pro limits, and third-party reports describe a $100 per month Ultra tier with a $200 top tier. Google says prices and limits can change and that its spend estimates are illustrative.
What it covers
AI Mode runs several searches at once across Google's index and the web, then combines the results. Google's help page says answers are grounded in web content. AI Overviews use a customized Gemini model that works with Google's Search ranking systems and the Knowledge Graph.
Citations and verification
Links to supporting sites appear beside the answer, and users can open them to explore further. Since October 2026, inline links also appear next to bullet points, according to press reports. When Google is not confident, it may show a list of web links instead of an answer.
